"Such exposure isn't uncommon for Grey's work, which has been featured on million-selling albums by Tool, Nirvana and the Beastie Boys."

i wasnt aware that Grey did stuff for nirvana and the beastie boys, if anyone knows of these images, let me know please!

I wasn't either. I think if you look up Nirvana's In Utero though, you'll find some of his stuff. I can't remember exactly, but the cover as I remember it, seems like something he could have done. As for the Beastie Boys, I never listened to em and have no clue about the artwork.

EDIT: I think I'm wrong about the cover...maybe he did something inside.....

The painting 'Gala' was featured inside the Beastie Boys 'Ill Communication' CD.

I recognized the picture when I was chcking out Alex Grey's website but I couldn't remember where I'd seen it before.

your post jogged my memory. thanks.

Sweet link, the net of being looks all the more impressive at a larger scale with alex standing in front of it. Would love to see it in the flesh, has anyone seen the coffee table book they mentioned?
