I heard a rumor that the bassist (is it Justin now??) played this with his pinky... Has anyone else heard something like this?

Many bassists use any number of their fingers at any time. Does it matter?

Well, I heard that he uses only his pinky on this song, which I can barely get with my index and middle fingers... I also heard he's learning to play with the bass behind his back...

Edit: But, on the other hand, he is a professional...

In my ear it sounds like he is using a pick, or his thumb.

When I saw them in Oakland he played it with a pick.

I don't think he would necessarily HAVE to use only his pinky on the frets... But now that I listen to the song now, it does sound like a pick...

Well, what about the behind the back rumor? Anything on that?
