This is a great song chalk full of debate. How typical of Tool. =)
Seriously though, Maynard does a great job of combining multiple well known phrases:
-Kangaroo Court
-Glass house
-House of Cards
-Soap box
-Lemon juice in the eye
-eyeballs deep in muddy water (though he seems to change this in the first passage to eyehole perhaps conotating that this subject is not yet blind but through the course of the song sinks deeper)
-Rob the grave
- pot calling the kettle black
Really, what I got out of this song is that he is tired of everyone acting like they know everything. And that sometimes anti-war people are just as bad as the government.
