I just wanted to point out that this song has one of the most beautiful bass lines I've ever heard in a chorus section.

The video explains it very well... very boring to play in my opinion.. it's just the one 'giant D' through the whole thing.. the only time it's fun to play is at the end when it gets switched up a bit. Still awesome to listen to, but not as fun to play as the rest of tool's bass lines.

Connelly plays "Don't fear the reaper" in Hubbs' cassette deck.

Hubbs: "I told you never to play that pussy song in the blue torpedo."

Connelly: "But it's Blue Oyster Cult, how can it be pussy?"

Hubbs: "I don't give a fuck if it's Blue Oyster Cult, every band puts out at least one pussy song so they can find out who the fags are!"

imho: it's not a pussy song if you compare it with songs from george michael or phil collins...
