I wonder, what is the significance of all the orchids around Danny?? They look great, are they simply for decoration or do they have some meaning?? Because there sure are a lot of them, I counted 10.... Orchids are a very advanced plant... Hmmm... Interesting....

they could be a piece of the puzzle

or they could just be decorative

I am thinking that he is an orchid enthusiast. I grow native North American orchids (Lady's Slipper) and it can be quite envolved... addictive. Orchid gets it's name from the Greek word "orchis" which means testicle.... something Danny has a lot of... to play like he does.

Ha Ha yes... I have dabbled in Orchids and they can be VERY addictive (and hard to rebloom or maybe I just suck at them...) But he does not have any of the more rare varieties...

I can't tell what he has... they look pretty common though for sure.

I have an orchid growing in my room right now. It's my girlfriend's though. I'm trying to not kill it for the next few days until she moves in. At first I was like, man what do I do with this thing, but I'v really grown fond of it. It's a very cool plant.

don't water it too much, thier roots need oxygen, not too much sunlight either, they can burn...

Yeah that's what she told me. I actually set it on top of a flat stone in a shallow tray of water so the air around it would stay moist. I watered it once in the past week and it seems to be doing well...all of the buds opened up and I can see little droplets of dew along the stem.

Look at the flowers on the right side, in front of the curtains. Notice the number "29"?

I see the 29 but it just looks like the buds...

Sounds lke you are doing everything right! You could tie it to a piece of cool looking driftwood and if it's healthy, it will eventually attatch itself to the wood, it looks so great that way...

In China, orchids represent having many children. Does that mean Danny's been putting it about with groupies?

It also represents love, beauty, refinement and that sort of thing.

To me, some orchids really resemble vaginas.... (Georgia O'Keeffe anyone?)
Prolly has absolutely nothing to do with it's real meaning. I just wanted to say vagina.

orchids are really feminine and through my studies of photography it has always been linked to the female as tathagata mentioned above...much more female than male to me
