And Tool's revisitation to themselves. If there's one song closer to 'the roots' on 10,000 days than any other, it's The Pot. Justin holds it together as if had been there himself, Adam lays it down old-style, Danny drops in the off-beats tied into some of the more direct and stronger style seen on Undertow, and Maynard yells like he used to. Of course the new flair can be found in the twists and turns but all in all The Pot is this album's tribute to the jams of the past era.
