Order of band members?

Maybe this has already been discussed, but I couldn't find it anywhere. The album's band listing reads:

what order is this? it's not alphabetical by first or last names, or by instrument (D, B, V, G). any thoughts?

yeah i agree on some level, i thought it was alphabetical order, but it isn't james-keenan, james is his real first name, if anything it should be James "Maynard" Keenan...

yeah i always thought "james" was used as a middle name (even though his given first name), not part of a double last name. that means it's still out of whack. there should be an easy answer to this.

They probably just put it in a random order (Obviously making sure that MJK wasn't first) these guys seem pretty cool about this type of thing. I don't think they'd give a fuck wether or not they are first in the liner notes or not.
