anyon notice that the guy on the cover has similar(if not the same) pupils as the face of the being under the track list? is it supposed to be the same person? i think it might be

It is the same eyes, they're have warped pupils, and irises that stretch into an hour glass shaped form.

i always thought the four irisis were some sort of symbol for "omnipresence" like the posibility to "see everything"

What do you think that the stuff on the back cover of Opiate is? Looks like some animal's hair to me...

I've always thought it looked like light reflecting off dog's fur, or something like that.
But then again, it could be something completely different, its not exactly a clear picture.

I heard the stretched pupils were somehow a reference to REM and Instantaneous Now.

The image on the back could be a blurry magnification of the man's eyes, hence the color similarity.

I wonder what was going through out the band's mind's when they were designing the cover and other art work because they were being extremely creative and might have been enlightened by something or other....
