For those who wish to change the order of the songs, I would argue that it would crack the symmetry of the structure.
1. Vicarious - bestial realm
2. Jambi - Faustian evolution
3. Wings for Marie - Faustian Death, letting go
4. 10000 Days - Faustian Redemption
5. The Pot - Humanism
6. Lipan Conjuring - Dreamtime, magical realm, subconsciousness
7. Lost Keys (Blame Hofmann) - psychotropic realm, merging of consciousness & sub-consciousness
8. Rosetta Stoned - Enlightenment without control
9. Intension - Schopenhauer's (Faustian) will, Will as World and Idea
10. Right in Two - Evolution insomma; the whole deal, the evolutionary conundrum, riddle, ride, joke
11. Viginti Tres - Fade out
I see riciprocal patterns between 1 & 10, 2 and 9, 3 & 8, 4 & 7, 5 & 6 (hence my post title). And 11...well, you know.
And isn't the best thing about Rorshachs that what one sees says more about them than the actual inkblot?
