The only thing I like about this segue is the guitar that comes in during the second half.

and the scream at the end. i can just see them cracking up and trying to hold it in as best they can!

dude i really don't think it's a joke. lipan cherokee, i believe, is the particular indian tribe. it doesn't seem like tool would make fun of their rituals, seeings as though it's purely spiritual. they've always just made fun of the middlemen of religion.

everytime you guys say you can tell they're joking is just making you look pretty immature and unintelligent, IMO.

EDIT: make that lipan-apache

I believe there's an interview floating around where Maynard says it's a thing Danny brought in to banish...evil or something.

Lipan Conjuring needs more love.

i read that interview as well. being native american myself, i love this track anyway, but after reading what it is intended for, i respect it even more.

its too bad some think this is a joke, or that native americans singing is comedic. perhaps tool will show them the light.

It sounds serious...kind of out of place, even on a Tool album, but serious anyway, until the guy (who I think is either john goodman or evel kneivel) yells at the end, destroying any solemn mood this may have brought on..
