I downloaded tool's cover of "No Quarter" from the internet.. since Salival is pretty tough to find. I noticed that the quality of the track isn't that great... it sounds fuzzy, and I have to turn the volume way up to hear it good. I tried downloading the song from other sources, but they all sound the same. Is this the way the song sounded originally, or am I just finding shitty copies?

I understand that this cover was recorded in the studio, right? If this is the case, one would think the quality of the recording would be up to par with the rest of tool's studio recordings.

I would be happy to do that, except for the fact that Salival is virtually obsolete.

My question remains unanswered.

No Quarter was a high quality recording, unfortunately for you, most downloads from Salival on the net are really dodgy sounding.

But Maynards vocals on No Quarter do start off pretty quiet and hard to understand.

Some people don't have the money to pay $100+ on something...

you realize that the band won't get "supported" (financially) by eBaying an out-of-print album, right?

cdnow.com still has some, although 120 is quite steep even though it is good stuff
