Shorten the track to 23 seconds.

I used "Audacity" to shorten the track to exactly 23 seconds without changing the pitch. I don't want to get you all excited, but it sounds like words might be spoken. Of course, they might be in Italian or something since the track's name is in Italian, and I don't know Italian. I've listened a few times, and I can't make anything out. I just figured we might as well get others to try before we give up on this.

Audacity is a free program. Just download it and use it. I don't want to get banned or anything for hosting the track, even if it is only 23 seconds.

But anyway, I dont expect you guys to know latin, so it would probably be a moot point anyhow.

there should be a time-stretch function.. i think it's under the Effect menu.. maybe it's tempo shift or something..

i used cool edit to do the same a few hours ago lol odd synchro but one bound to happen. i heard something on the order of "we sold our...." but cant make out the rest

i did this, and it sounds kinda cool and i hear what you're saying. i also shortened the track to two minutes and 30 seconds. You can clearly hear the thing saying "the system" though you never hear whatever it is finish it. its said in an alien voice. kinda cool.

Not that anybody cares, but my theory is that danny asked his daemon in "The Lodge" to contribute to the record, and this is what happened. I think if we were meant to understand what we are hearing, we would have a higher sanity threshold and our ears wouldn't bleed quite so easily.

wanna hear something weirder. Make the track 23 seconds then reverse it. YOu can hear the voice say the system over and over even though it only says its once going foward.
