There's a wilderness survival school in New Jersey that i have been going to for the past 4 years. It is based on a man named Tom Brown, Jr. who was raised by an Apache he called "Grandfather." The whole school is based on the things that Grandfather taught Tom from the ages 8 to when he died when Tom was 18-ish. I heard a while ago that Maynard may have taken a class there. Whether or not this relates to this song i do not know, but it would be cool if it did. There's a lot of cool apache techniques of misdiversion and cool tactics like that.
Also i heard Tom speak once, he's a funny dude, sense of humor kind of like Maynards. A lot of people associate woodsy types as being very happy and gay (as in happy) and light-aired but this guy is a total bastard he's really funny. Smokes cigarettes too which i dont get but i guess it's just him.
Lol also i heard that during a practice raid of a camp he started blasting the grudge, i dont know if that's a coincidence or not though.
