this song talks about how being famous can be extremely tedious and repetitive (interview,press conference,concert,repeat),especially for maynard who is known to be very disdainful of interviews.sometimes it all seems too routinary and pointless to him,but when he feels the connection that he makes with the people who appreciate Tool's music,he feels reassured that this is the purpose of his existence.(i would go through a line-by-line interpretation,butit's really late right now so i'm just gonna have to leave it at that).
