There's one purchase available for only $10.98 and then ANOTHER one for $26.49, may possibly be a DVD but I really hope it has another disk of music. Not that I dislike the new one, I just feeling like it's not enough...I want MORE Tool.

An Import. It usually comes from Europe or Japan.
I has extra shit in it.
I have never owned one so I'm not exactly sure.

It doesn't need to have extra shit to be an import, it just means they are expecting the sales of the album to skyrocket in a couple of weeks (along with sales of all the other TOOL material) so they are getting a whole bunch made cheaply overseas and then ripping everyone off in the USA by making them pay for shipping costs.

That doesn't make any sense at all.

No not really, but look at how these record companies work, it's crazy. There are loads US albums and singles advertised on Amazon as imports and usually more expensive because of it. A lot of them are exactly the same as the album you would have originally bought at home(US). Maybe the are made overseas and intended to be sold overseas so there are no import costs to the buyer, but then Amazon advertises them in an odd way. You would be ripping yourself off if you bought one from the US that you could get cheaper from your local record store. I wonder what would happen if I ordered the import of 10,000 days? Maybe it would get shipped from its factory in Australia to the US Amazon distribution center and then here to New Zealand only to find that it is EXACTLY the same CD (but at twice the price) I could by at my local record store (including the made in Australia bit).

Makes sense to me. Might not be true, but it makes sense.

How can you not know what an import is though????

i just bought this on amazon....the combo package of the cd and the import...shipped seperately since the import doesnt release until the 16th......reguardless if its new material or not, i dig the oddity albums like imports that might only have a slightly modified cover.

Import, Possible.

But why does it not have track listings?

I never bought an import before I suppose is why. But when I saw the two prices I thought one would have an option with extra stuff...but I may be completely wrong and ignorant. Won't get my hopes up but I'd be damn glad if we do get more Tool than just this.

I have both US and UK versions on Aenima and the cas is completely different.

As I am sure many of you know the Uk version did not have the animation case but came with a list of 16 fake albums with fake album covers. So the import version in this case was only a different case :)

Could be the same, have you seen this case, looks too cool for 9.99
