This is total conjecture, but it seems to me as though this song name is signifying incompleteness. Humans have 46 chromasomes, 23 from the mother and 23 from the father. I think there's a possibility that closing the album like this implies another CD, giving more weight to the "decoy/2 cds theory"...

Anyway, just my quick thought.

Hah no cliff notes. However, in the writings of Wilson and Burroughs the number 23 has heavy occult significance and it seems peculiarly prone to eliciting the strangest of genuine synchronicities. I've yet to hear the song itself so I can't really put it into context, but we all know about the obscure areas of knowledge the TOOL members are into.

Extremely interesting suggestion, I already saw the one thread about 23 chomrosomes in relation to parents (Maynard losing his mother, etc etc), but the thought of this signifying an incomplete album is a nice little extension to that.
