because the riff at 2:59 is the riff in Third Eye, which for some reason NOBODY here stated. It is the exact SAME RIFF no doubt about it.

if anybody wants to hear it you can go listen to Third Eye from 2:33 on. The whole song like this song is based on it.

The effect on Maynards voice is even similar.

its still a good song, in fact much of it is very different than third eye, i was just saying that that one riff is very similar to it, and seems reused, at least it was worth reusing.
