yeah , I didn't get the whole random AIC thing. But I hope you're not implying that i didn't know that Layne died 6 years ago? I know they are reuniting, is what I meant.

Eh, that would be bad for both of us.

Wow.

Serious now, I hate the fact that they could come back with another guy in the voices. Alice in Chains is just that four guys

True, True. There is no AIC without Layne. There is no Tool without Maynard.

Name your god and bleed the freak.

so true, although i can't imagine Tool without all four members, no way would it be the same trying to replace any of them.

Actually I'd have to say Tool is the only band I can name that all four members COMPLETELY deliver the goods in. Even if Justin left and Paul cam back I think it still wouldnt be the same.

The one thing about all these bands is that the bassists all own. Come on now, Les Claypoole, Geddy Lee? Ownage.

Still, as a band they all complement each other.

i think maynard paid homage to layne in this song. i think the album may also have signifigance with all the loses in great friends they had. not just judith marie.

This song SCREAMS Alice and Chains. Why? Not Maynard's vocals... the fucking "melting in the sun on the sidewalk with burn open holes in your jeans and week old bleech still having an effect in your greasy unwashed hair. Watch out for that skateboard" feel of the guitar riff. It's so damn 90s, it's great :-)
