I traced the original download back to it's source and it turns out the ip address was pinged from Blairs pc. Blair's involvement with the band suggests strongly it's a hoax.

If you are for real, tell me this. How do you know that the IP you tracked is Blair's IP? My IP changes every time I connect, because I want to leave it non static, so I can get away with doing funky shit. Besides that, an IP tells you nothing about the location of a computer. Usually, most IP Tracker progs that ordinary people know how to use will only tell you information about the ISP that the IP is connected through.
I mean, either way, if this album is a fake, i will be laughing, not because Tool would have duped everyone in the world, but because we scored two new Tool Albums!! I dont think it is that great a hoax, more an early xmas present.
