Seems to me like Disposition/Reflection has to do a lot with Maynard's mother as well.
In Disposition, Maynard seems sort of desperate to get an answer out of the person he is sending the song out to...."Mention this to me, mention something, mention anything" that could possibly be his mother, who was incapable of mentioning anything to him
As for Reflection, it sounds as if Nard's just reevaluating his self, it's a moment of introspection, and part of that is his current situation with his mother. Maybe his coming to terms with his love for her? Knowing that she doesnt have much time left, and that he should be at peace with her before she passes....
i dunno, i maybe trying to force 2 + 2 to equal 5, but it's an interesting thought
