what is the relevance of the word "Jambi" to the content of the song itself? the lyrics seem to have nothing to do with the province in Indonesia or the genie on Pee-Wee's Playhouse...

personally, i think the title is a subtle hint that this is their "Jam" song (as mentioned by Blair in the January 2006 newsletter, the one where he channels Obelisong), and the Indonesia/Pee-Wee stuff is just subterfuge. they're toolin' with us.

I think this is commentary on current american colonialism in places such as afganistan/iraq.... It just seems to fit quite well with the lyrics/what happened in Jambi with the dutch.
