i think its a good song, to be honest i wasnt impressed at first, but the song is a good opener. i especially like the melody towards the very end. definitely not the best opener so far tho, that would have to be the epic T'he Grudge'.

man, i have been trippin out to this song!! I musta heard it like 111 times... =P I have been blasting with my studio monitors, and I think that this is their best produced song I have heard! It seemed almost similar to a perfect circle the first couple times i heard it, but then I realized where the tool was in it.....I can only imagine how high the new records quality is going to be! At least 100 times in my car, on my laptop and iPod. I work out for an hour and a half or so every day and have vicarious on a loop. I've got the whole album, but I really am trying to wait for the original to come in the mail (pre-ordered it). It's so tempting not to listen to it though.

I know this is gonna sound ridiculous, but my itunes says Ive played Vicarious 339 times. Granted, some of those are from leaving it on repeat while I went to bed. BUt throw in playing it in my car and we are talking 400. And I still love it..........love the album more ;)
