The combination of this and 10,000 days (wings pt.2) definitely got me close to tears. It was so well done it's almost scary.

funny you should say that since i thought the heavy repetetive thingie at 2mins before the end was probably the worst placed 10 seconds out of any tool song. i love the rest of teh 17 minutes between these two tracks...absolutely beautiful...but the two times that this silly riff plays i almost want to choke tool for changing the mood so quickly and then going back to that somber attitude. it fits a little better in part 2, but part 1 i was so upset when i first heard it. it's growing on me slowlly, but i don't think i'll ever actually like it, but i'll be able to deal with it. =P

I don't know, maybe I just don't feel the song as much as everyone else does, but what's with the constant crying to Wings/10,000 Days? It's emotional, it's a great song, but I don't sit there sobbing. Strange.
