oh yeah, plus danny's drumming is suppposed to be off the hook on this album, he supposedly implemented a scottish rite ritual movement into his drumming technique

I believe those quotes (from his website) were in reference to Lateralus.

Im a Masonic Historian at the www.Gwmemorial.org and I dont want to sound like a "party pooper" but 23 isn't really significant to Scottish Rite Masonry. I think something people should look more into are the Masonic references in Schism, read some of the 3 degree ritual, it should be automatic.

As far as presidents are concerned, I work at a Masonic museum dedicated to the Masonic history of GW. I will put at the bottom a list of masonic presidents:

1 George Washington (Pres. 1789-1797)(MM 1753)
2 James Monroe (Pres. 1817-1825)(MM 1776)
3 Andrew Jackson (1829-1837)(MM 1800?)(Fedl #1 1830)
4 James K. Polk (Pres. 1845-1849)(MM 1820)
5 James Buchanan (Pres. 1857-1861)(MM 1817)
6 Andrew Johnson (Pres. 1865-1869)(MM 1851)
7 James A. Garfield (Pres. 1881)(MM 1864)
8 William McKinley (Pres. 1897-1901)(MM 1865)
9 Theodore Roosevelt (Pres. 1901-1909)(MM 1901)
10 William H. Taft (Pres. 1909-1913)(MM 1901)
11 Warren G. Harding (Pres. 1921-1923)(MM 1920)
12 Franklin D. Roosevelt (Pres. 1933-1945)(MM 1911)
13 Harry S. Truman (Pres. 1945-1953)(MM 1909)
14 Gerald R. Ford (Pres. 1974-1977)(MM 1951)

Yeah, 33 is a more significant number in Scottish Right Masonry, being the highest degree and only confered as an honourary degree. That being said, Freemasonry has borrowed heavily from other occult philosophies so there may still be some connections to the number 23.

One issue with all of this. The Rosetta stone wasn't found by the knights Templar. It was found by troops from Napoleon's army in 1799

i'm sorry i didn't make it clear. yes 33 is the highest degree but there are 23 letters in: scottish rite freemasonry, and we all know that 23 is a cryptic number in the occult. so twenty three is not a coincidence here. maybe it referred to lateralus but the connection can be made on this album too.

French Captain Pierre-François Bouchard (sometimes spelt Boussard)(1772-1832) discovered the stone in the Egyptian port city of Rosetta (present-day Rashid) on July 15, 1799.

Good god I love that site, it makes finding evidence so much easier.
