Well, we all know radio is going to cut the song, but how do you think they'll do it ?

Personally, i think they'll cut the intro down, and they'll maybe remove the extended breakdown that occurs.

I remember my local radio station used to do 3 songs from the same artist at noon, and they played tool every day. 3 full tool songs in a row.

Radio probably won't cut a thing, at least at first. MTV opposes free speech and won't like the message, so they'll probably chop out as many words as it takes to obscure the meaning of the song when the video airs.

From what I remember in the San Francisco area, they left Schism alone at first. Then after people had heard the song they started shaving stuff off. I recall the very beginning being the first thing to go.

They didn't cut Schism. That was nearly 7 minutes. And that's an easy song to cut. This song has like 30 different parts all contained in 7 minutes.

someone once told me that they sped up the middle of the song a little to shorten it, but that doesn't make any sense...

...what did they cut? personally, i don't think they will cut it because radio will often play eulogy....and it isn't cut...

It's probably different on different stations, but the most obvious part was the very, very beginning. The part right before the main riff starts.
