Yeah I was actually at both. Pretty much identical concerts, but definitely worth going to both.

No, it's still there. They have events scheduled on their web site. They demolished a different building in downtown Fort Worth a couple weeks ago, but not the convention center.

well since its still there id like to see them there or nokia, but thats the only choices they got if they want a good show, i was talking to a guy that works at the american airline center, after the NIN show, and he said they had something planned with tool sometime in march but i dont even know if the guy really worked there or his name, but take or leave it i dont care, personally i dont even trust the guy

I have confirmed though AEG (the promoter) that Tool will be playing Dallas at McFarlin Auditorium May 8. McFarlin is on the SMU campus. No ticket info yet.

God i hope so. I just called the theatre and spoke with a lady saying that they have signed no contract with the band, and that their booking manager is out for the day. She did say that they won't know for sure until about wednesday or thursday. Shit!!! I did ask how many seats were in the theatre, and she told me around 2200. If this gets confirmed, it's going to be very difficult to get tickets. She did say that the Mcfarlin box office will not be selling the tickets if the band books the venue, but ticketmaster will.

These venues are usually pretty intimate settings. If your lucky enough to get tickets or buy more than you need.... let's share w/ each other. I figure if your going to this your pretty committed and understand the type of crowd that will be there.

66 would be crazy, but I'd pay. Sucks, I got 3 or 4 friends that will work just as hard as I do to get tickets, so like you all have said, getting tickets will be hard. It will work like when lateralus came out sort of. The first time I go to see the band, the second time I go to see the videos.
