listen to the track "Test for Echo", of the 1996's "Test for Echo" album of Rush.
at 00:53-00:57 and 1:49-1:57, does that sounds familiar to you as it does to me?
i've heard several times that Tool has been influenced by Rush. however, this could a mere coincidence (and i hope the reference hasn't been posted before..).
