I wonder who was behind the Dead guy photos.Adam or Guitar world mag.
And if it was in fact adam; i wonder if the seaweed wraped aroud his body has something to do with the design on the intro to www.toolband.com(I'm sure there is no conection to be made..........but I also have another theory.
Maynard has mentioned several times resently in a few articles that with the previous albums he was trying to bring about some sort of awareness( i.e. political,spiritual,whatever.)
But he felt that he was speaking apon deaf ears.(there was no real reaction to his art..._thats just the vibe I was getting from his comments-)so the new album in more personal and has an vibe of sadness to it(.death?).... *currently 3,000 + in Iraq*
thus I feel that the pics in the guitar world article reflect tools/maynards perspective
of either speaking to the hopeless/deaf ear.
or the state of america and it's citizians....the walking dead.
Just floating along.
