Some lyrics. I like 'em... you should too :-).

The Letterman

The voice emits a tranquil sound
A song beneath the noise around us
Beckoning me to step beyond the bounds
And so Im falling further and further
Deeper and deeper, all the way down

Trust in me this time
Die with me this time
Turn around and I will never
Be with you again

Trust me, your letterman!

The wall is coming closer now
On the bottom and smiling down
I pray the man below me will
Reach for higher ground

Cause he thinks I've disappeared
After falling deeper and deeper
While I'm above and smiling down
But he keeps moving further and further

Trust in me this time
Die with me this time
Turn around and I will never
Be with you again

Trust me

... so what do you think?

Excellent.
The only flaw I find, not in this, but all other writings in the Letters section, is that we can't seem to write something without tool hunting us.
In each writing there are those truly tool-words that we are all familiar with, as well as tool-concepts.
It is something I could not break off from.

As far as "tool-words" go, well, you're right. Almost my entire vocabulary is based on words used in tool songs. Its hard to break away from these habits.

Despite this, the song is in no way tool-inspired. It can be hard to tell though, because only I know what it means.

And good luck figuring it out, mwahahaha!

Thanks for the feedback.
