Anyways, does anyone have a good version of the ORIGINAL work so I can see exactly what the differences between the 10,000 days version and it are?

Not sure if this has been mentioned before, but when I went to Adams myspace and clicked properties of the artwork to see what it was saved as

so that stereoscopic stuff looks like it may have something to do with the big picture. I know it's been speculated maybe having to do with it.

I see it too.

Kind cool find, I guess. Not sure what its got to do with anything.

If you look at that logo and back away, the whole thing start to look like its shaking and the colors look like they're subtley moving around in waves. Anybody else see that, or am I just tired?

Just seems to me the "before your very eyes" line was a bit too telling of Blair.

I see the wrench but I don't think they meant to make it look like a wrench. It just looks like that cause of the massive earlobs of the faces that are looking sideways

obviously. that's the point. the picture is a half-assed attempt at a merge of the picture and its opposite. It's opposite, having been inferred to by the off-centered-ness of the original.

but alas, i dont even have photoshop on this pc, so this was done with really pathetic imaging software.

Anyways ... I think it's obvious now, thanks to the posts about stereoscopic imagery, that the technique is going to be used in SOME WAY for the album cover. What with Blair's comment about the "key is before your very eyes" ... and the necessity of the images being 2-3 feet away from your face.

Comparing it to an image of the wrench...looks like it could be intensional (pun intended)

The dimensions look about right

given that this design existed before Tool decided to use it though, I'm wondering if this is just a coincidence
