right, here in old blighty there is a number called shazam 2580 and you play a small clip of music into your phone. it tells you what it is. ive tried this with some really obscure shit and its worked. i'll try it when i get home and let you know if it picks it as some one else.

definately sounds like Danny's playing, but not so much like Adam's, and the production quality is a little low. You can tell by the buzz when he goes to that Eb chord.
But it does seem to reflect that "guitars to the fore" thing they keep going on about, and it's pretty good, so I'd give it a 6.5/10 chance of being Tool.

It's kind of hard to see if this is it. The drums have some similarity with Danny's, but the guitar seems different from Adam's. And there is a bit of Meshuggah influence in there... But, I believe it's not Tool. Just my intuition speaking.

drums sound awesome, the guitar too, it has just kinda NEW sound, that's fine.
think we'll get a better sound on this album than in any other.
the buzz is due to the fact it's a crappy mp3 and probably yr f*** bass boost or yr monitoring.
no, buzz cannot be created by an mp3. physically impossible... it's called "beats" in physics, and its what musicians use to tune. When put on drive, a guitar will buzz as it did if improperly leveled or if out of tune... both signs of bad production.
