On April 1 Tool are actually going to tell the truth, albeit some weird truth, and nobody will beleive it because they have always played tricks in the past. Then they won't say anything about it until the album comes out/tours start. Then they'll be like, "What, did you think we were joking?" and everyone will have been fooled again.

yep, definitely will happen some year soonish, if not this one. and whenever it really happens, it'll be really funny. the fans fool ourselves....... heh, not even that much of a stretch really, now is it? :P

I'm expecting an announcement that will seemingly clarify points x and y, but will actually just be a ruse. For example: "Yes, as some have guessed, the "Aldaraia" tracklist was the correct one..." which will cause another civil war on these boards, but will actually be the April Fools.

Seriously, I think the members of Tool have a book open to see which one of them can cause the largest amount of posts/threads from the most obscure, trivial sentence. That BBQ-as-metaphor-for-new-album comes to mind.

Like i said, I think they'll anounce something just for the crack of it; imo its too good a chance for a band like TOOL, with its dry, sardonic sense of humour to let pass unexploited (even if all the info weve had so far is correct, which i think it is...)
