HAPPY ST. PATRICK’S DAY!
Cheers to all you revelers and cluricauns in your noisy, shamrock-festooned pubs, and the lightning bolt from a shillelagh blasting rod to those who didn’t catch the leprechaun who’s obligated to show you his buried treasure. Next time look for tilted spectacles and silver shoe-buckles and then don’t look away (not even for a second!)

Its an excuse for Blair to toy with the fans a bit more- posting proves he is there (not away, broken internet or whatever) but has aparrently "moved on" from the whole Album mysteries/queries he is no doubt getting most of the day.

Hidden message mayhaps?

could well be, actually.buried treasure= album info maybe?

maybe he's the "leprechaun", the buried treasure is info, and

Next time look for tilted spectacles and silver shoe-buckles and then don’t look away (not even for a second!)

could possibly mean that he has shown us the info, just no one noticed, now he's taken it back?

I dunno...

I wonder if Blair locked his laptop away afterwards, knowing he'll get drunk, and probably post something he shouldn't..?

ah well, keeping fingers crossed.

Sounds like a riddle!

zenkinet
03-17-2006, 03:07 PM
wtf is a cluricaun?
Cluricauns

There is much debate over whether cluricauns are actually leprechauns or their close cousins. Except for a pink tinge about the nose, they perfectly resemble leprechauns in all their physical characteristics. But they never wear an apron or carry a hammer, nor do they have any desire to work. They have silver buckles on their shoes, gold laces their caps and pale blue stockings up to the calves. They like to enter rich men's wine cellars, as if they were their own, and drain the casks dry.

To amuse themselves they harness sheep and goats and shepherds' dogs, jump from bogs and race them over the fields through the night.

Leprechauns sternly declare that cluricauns are none of their own. But some suspect they are really leprechauns on a spree, who, in the sobering morning, deny this double nature.

Hey sceptical ones!

Blair is making fools of you! Even with the correct information under your nose (www.toolband.com / 10,000 days + tracklist) you still not see it because you don't believe it. 10,000 Days is the treasure!! But you (sceptical ones) are to sceptical to accept it/find it/believe it.

Blair is master to all of you.

great post

Fuck toolband and these couple past months - if people are skeptical and confused and hesitant, tha's fine, because of how unreliable any information from anyone related to the band is. Not only do they lie through their teeth all the time, half the time the info coming out is just fake, false, or irrelevant. Real album and trackname or not, it's no great feat one way or the other, and it's not surprising people are split 50/50.

This isn't some great mystery, some giant puzzle with deep clues and intricate riddles.

It's plain ol' lack of- or mis-information, I don't blame people one way or the other, and I can't wait until I have the album in my hands and this stupid game is over.

I'm all for mystery and excitement, but for fuck sake, it's getting tiresome.

I wonder was it this bad in the Lateralus era?

The controversey is entirely fan-made.

Either toolband.com is hosting false information and the band is quoted giving false information in Kerrang, t.d.n., Triple J, and Sub Rosa, or not.

Two options, one of which is dependent on all the sources we could expect to give us any information one way or another, and one of which is dependent upon speculation from no one who knows any members of Tool about what Tool is likely to do (and in some cases: translations of Enochian).

Good luck.

Then why open up your browser and go to their website, this site or any other site that updates news on the band? Mainstream media outlets will tell you when the slated release date will be once the band releases it. So, if you claim that you're adventurous then keep up, post your opinion in a way that maybe even would benefit the board and keep quiet with the negative posts. If not, then shut the computer off, or don't go to the respected websites that might hint at clues and pick away at them, because it's obviously frusturating you.

As for the TB post, I like it. It's very much obvious that Blair is fucking with us, and that there is more to the puzzle. It's evident that the tracklistings might in fact be real, that the title might be real but us cluricauns are too lazy (refering to zenkinets posted description to solidify this) to accept it, to think about it, to actually put together intellegent and somewhat meaningful posts that could maybe better our conception of the album. Intaking communication maybe?

Who liked the wine reference in zenkinets description and its relation? Ha.

agreed. I'm so glad two sites can give me the exact same information. Not to be a dick, but I will be, I know how to check Toolband. No offense, but its annoying to see threads about news that can be obtained simply by clicking on my Tool Army button.
