Shiny black square on the cover

Hi!

I got the Salival DVD Box lieing around here for ages now but ever since I bought it
I´ve got a question.
Does anybody here know what the little shiny black square on the dvd/cd box is?

The first time I had a look at it, it looked like one of those cheap extras that come with kids magazines (well here in germany).
They are called Detective Lie Detector (or Spy Kit) or something like that. And when you press your thumb on them they change colors.

But.. it doesn´t...

And I´m clouless ever since..
