Undertow - transvestite prom queen, straight pissed to the arse.
Ænima - fluorescent blue whitey tighty alien acid eater.
Lateralus- hellraiser underlord, heat-pieced, yet reserved.

*I'm gonna have to go with Southern Baptist influenced snake conjuring preacher meets waiting on the rapture and disappointed when found out it aint gonna happen....
(assuming that can somehow be turned into a wardrobe and stage presence / persona / vibe)

Your description of Maynard during the Aenima release is right on. Perfect. The Lateralus one is pretty good too. But I don't remember the dread locks during Opiate or the prom queen during Undertow. So here is what I submit (with a few new ideas):
Opiate - local shirtless stoner with a powerful scream.
Undertow - renagade indian freak on crack.
Ænima - fluorescent blue whitey-tighty alien acid eater.
Lateralus - omnipotent leather-faced deliverer of holy premonitions.

I would enjoy a Retared Gimp persona.
I would pay double the ticket to see maynard act retarted in a gimp suit, and mock a siezure, ALL while doing "maynards Dick"
but they wont do that song live.

well, before every show there would be an introduction where the queer guys from bravo come and dress up the whole band with all the latest trends in stripes and whatnot. very hip, and to top it off they show a clip of them being transformed with some disturbed music playing in the background. then you see 10,000 fists get thrown up in the air in recognition to each gay persona of each fan.

So do I. Unfortunately, it's not of the whole song (at least the version I have isn't). But yeah, this guy manages to hop up on stage past the bouncers and runs over to hug Maynard, who hugs him briefly before perfectly executing a judo shoulder throw, catching the guy completely off guard. Then he straddles him and does his dance to Maynard's Dick.

the persona for aenima made me think maynard really was an alien for a while. i have no idea what his persona will be for this album, it would be cool if he had long hair again though. haha maybe he will revive his role in sleeping dogs lie and make that his persona, haha.
