Sips or Sniffs?

Until I read the lyrics to the song, I thought the line was,

"And In between
sniffs of coke
he told me
that he thought we
were selling out"

But after reading the lyrics, It seems he says "Sips"... not "Sniffs".

... which doesnt change much at all. Im just a freak and have to know every lyric.

Did anyone else think (or still do?) he says Sniffs and is referring to cocaine? hehe. Probly only me.

i thought that for a very long time... after a couple of months... i looked on the internet for the lyrics...

when i had read the lyrics... i freaked out... i think sniffs is funnier then sips..

Because Coca-cola represents how marketing influences everything we consume. Cocaine wouldn't really make too much sense. But hell i couldn't figure out half of the lyrics before I read them. Damn Maynard enunciate please.
