It seems like BMG France has a confirmed release date for the new album. It is, no surprises, 02/05/2006 (for you americans, 05/02/2006).

A translation :
"The Date has been confirmed to Moon by BMG : the release date is 02/05/2006 !"

Moon used to manage the french official APC fanclub, and has been a reliable source in the past.

No surprises here, but it seems like it's getting more and more official.

I'll wait until Blair announces it also, but it seems that everyones accepting May 2 as the day.

May 1 - Last day of classes for this semester
May 2 - New Tool Album (?)
May 3 - ISIS/Dalek/Zombi concert

Local radio station is playing Lateralus, which is a fisrt for me hearing that on the radio; anyway, the dj said their new album will be out May 2nd

I translated that forum where it says about the May 2 release date confirmed by Moon and its so funny because out of nowhere he just goes "The date was confirmed in Moon by BMG: the exit of the album is for the 02/05/2006!"

I really hope (and maybe I bet) Tool will obscure Pearl Jam this time... Pearl Jam's Binaural and Riot Act were boring, two flops artistically.


and anyway, some guys here are saying that the worldwide suicide's riff is very very similar to the offspring's "come out and play" (I never listened to that song). Almost a plagium
