Found this on alt.music.tool. Somebody who can confirm this`?

"Today I went to the HMV and in the Tool section, they had this message that
said that the new Tool would be released on May 2nd, and that the title
would be Magic.

I hope they're smarter than the websites and magazines that announced song
titles like Poopy the Clown and all that other crap.

"Magic" wouldn't bother me as an album title at all but it would be more fitting if it was spelled "Magick" since that is the way that Aleister Crowley spelled it.

The title of the new album is not Magic, or any other spelling of that world. Shut the FUCK UP.

I'd rather it be firefly or Refractionoid/Bilboran than Magic. Thats the fruitiest sounding name ever.

ARMZ
02-18-2006, 11:59 AM
Who gives a fuck what it's called, they could call it 'The lost tales of the fairy city' for all I care. Now that would be magic.

Maybe they know what they are talking about since Tool shouldn't be far away from them right now. I'm liking the date since it goes along with Metacritic.com's date but the title is eh maybe thats the title Tool gave them to fuck with them.

Headed down to HMV down on Pitt Street, Sydney during lunch and NO there is nothing in HMV saying ANYTHING about the upcoming Tool album.

They must have been tripping or something.
