Big Day Out is Australian, so it'd relate to Australia.

The other thing is that the booklet advertises the DVD singles, which means they're out in Australia.

Also Tool don't seem to have changed their logo from Lateralus. You'd think they could have given a teaser, new logo, a glimpse of the artwork, just something!

I'd suggest that the reason there's no new logo, etc. on the ad, is because the ad was put in there by the local distributor and not the band. And the release date is probably a guess based on the various info we all have....

more likely they dont want to risk any new artwork or logos being ripped off before the album is released. the release date is the same thing from on the singles when you take the different hemispheres into account.

I got the parabola one a couple of weeks ago in Syd at Utopia records, they sold out of the schism dvd which pissed me off + it cost me $22 which pissed me off even more...

HMV offically released them here in australia on January 23rd. They both cost 14.99.
