i don't know if i'm the only one who noticed this, but during the intro to this (lateralus) tour, adam uses one of the melodies from merkaba. it's toward the end of merkaba, i think around 7:45 maybe.

Merkaba has been around along time from what I remember, its a great intro. It has been used alot as a preface to sober, too.
