more than just a band

I was wondering if anyone here has seen the commercial where Paul Mcartney is playing hey jude and there is a man in the audience that starts crying. I think the beatles and tool are the only two bands that can do this to people. ARe they even considered bands. For instance when i saw Tool live during their performance of reflection i think i might have shed a tear. These are the only two bands that i know can do this. Sure bands like system of a down and rage against the machine are awesome, but i dont know if they can have that affect on people.

the point is, it all depends on the affinity a certain listener has with the band. what about teeny boppers who cry over the mere sight of their beloved idols... of course we view this as irrational however the teeny boppers may find it confusing and irrational for us to tie such emotions to music they do not listen to nor understand...
