anyways, during the bridge, he says something about love, white lines, and too much breathing? does anyone know exactly what the lyrics are?

listen to "suspicious minds" by elvis.. its a verse from that, this is the 5th version of stinkfist thats played live.

album version
extended musical sequence version
suspicious mind version
white lines version
white lines/suspicious minds version

personally, i like the suspicious minds version the best. i felt that the hybrid of suspicious minds and white lines took away from the theme of each one in particular.

(words & music by Mark James)
We're caught in a trap
I can't walk out
Because I love you too much baby
Why can't you see
What you're doing to me
When you don't believe a word I say?
We can't go on together
With suspicious minds
And we can't build our dreams
On suspicious minds
So, if an old friend I know
Drops by to say hello
Would I still see suspicion in your eyes?
Here we go again
Asking where I've been
You can't see these tears are real
I'm crying
We can't go on together
With suspicious minds
And be can't build our dreams
On suspicious minds
Oh let our love survive
Or dry the tears from your eyes
Let's don't let a good thing die
When honey, you know
I've never lied to you
Mmm yeah, yeah

an interesting thing here: i have a feeling thast when they do the suspicious minds version, it is the only time that they use the word "baby" in any of their songs.. correct me if im wrong..

yeah it does seem a little too...cliché for them...

but i found that singing that extra verse added somethign to the meaning of the song, made it seem like it was about a relationship..

while the white lines version made me think it was about drug use..

the studio version makes me think its about something else entirely..

this is why i dont like the suspicious mind/white lines hybrid, they conflict with each other..
