yeah it isnt very hard to know...

Dead= Not alive
Ohio= A Place
Sky= The Air in big shape

Yeh ive never really got it either, but im pretty fucking stupid so thats nothing new.

Yea sure like Nirvana said dead not alive..ect. But what I was wondering is if there was any hidden meaning behind it. I just strike’s me as kind of a powerful lyric and I didn’t know if maybe it had another meaning other than the obvious.

i think maynard was born in ohio, moved to LA later in his life.

Maynard was born to a Baptist family and grew up with an older sister in Ravenna, Ohio. Maynard attended Brown Jr High and then Ravenna High school through the 10th grade until he moved to Michigan. There he attended Mason County Central High School in Scottville, MI. By the time he entered the army, in 1982, he had lived in Ohio, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Oklahoma, Kansas and Texas.
