I don't think I'm going to overload until a release date is set, but this is my first Tool release as well, and I'm pretty excited about it overall. I'm not crazy excited yet, but I have that feeling of "any news yet?" everyday morning I wake up.

My first album release as well. I wake up every day, and one of the first things that I think as soon as I open my eyes is if there's any news yet. I'm trying to not think about it though, because I know it's still going to be a while before we even see the single released. But once there's a release date/and or album name, tracklist, cover art, etc.. I'm going to start getting really ancy.

i agree underalis, i think this is when it will be released because of the significance. but i dont understand why itwould take so long to come out if the album is already recorded. surely it doesnt take that long to get the cd's manufactured

Personally I don't think they care whether or not the date is significant. It will probably get pushed back anyhow so I'm just hoping I don't have to turn 21 without the CD. That's in April by the way.

DVD and DVD-A are different. DVD-A needs a special player. Some are compatable with both, like the NIN DualDiscs.

Based on Blair last news post I think I know what the L in the supposed song LK stands for. I think it stands for Lachrymatory or Lachrymology. The last time he mentioned post-mortem residue was in the newsletter describing his sigil that was used during LK. Now in the news post he mentions that Alex Grey's poem Lachyrmatory hints at a post-mortem substance. What do you think? Now you guys have the easy part of finding what K stands for.

are you sure though there isn't like any circuit cities or general chain electronic stores around in your area (or places besides a set CD store or something) that would sell CDs. I mean, I live out in the middle of nowhere, but about 5 miles away along one of the major routes there is are a few chain electronic stores like that were I've picked up some new release CDs from, and I've checked and they have Tool at those places too.

im not really in the middle of nowhere(well kind of). but, the only stores we used to have bsides walmart was scotts, kmart and ames, but they all got shut down, so we just have walmart.

theres not really any good shit in our area, just music clubs (over 21) and countless bars(even ones being built a block from where i live) and thats, well, it, but the only thing i can think of even remotly close is the pawn shop, but they only sell used games and videos, no cds. they are a total ripoff too.

so no shit to look forward too. i just have to hope i can get a ride(not likely, though, since the release is AFTER christmas.) so, im pretty screwed, lol, not much to look forward to in a while. i start waiting to get cds AFTER they come out. i mean, i only own like 25, and iv been a music fan for a LONG time(around 4th grade). so, if im lucky, ill get it a few weeks after release, so its no use counting down.
