I always thought that this song was about Hitler. This thought could have been explored before, but I am new here so I thought I would put in my two cents. I think it is about Hitler because of the line waving and pointing his finger at everything but his heart. And he had a lot to say, he had a lot of nothing to say. I am probably wrong, but that is what came to mind when I first heard it.

To me, it could be about Jesus, Hitler or L. Ron Hubbard if I see it like that. Sometimes it's about Jesus but I still see it about anyone who tries to stand above the crowd. This includes Hitler and Jesus too.
