So

i hope they dont play the bdo, big day out is fucking lame.

tool are way to big to need to play at the big day out, they would much rather do their own tour of NZ.

He kids, he kids!
The webcast was so full of information! All wondering about when the album will be released has vanished. How did you miss the webcast?

I'm pretty sure that there was no webcast last week or the week before or any time this year...

Anyway, as for Tool playing at the Big Day Out, although it would be great to see them i can't imagine them playing at such a festival. As it's been said, I think they would rather do their own tour of Australia and New Zealand later on. Wouldn't Tool want to play more shows in the U.S. and Europe first?

Also, does anyone else remember A Perfect Circle being set to play at the BDO in 2004 before pulling out? They ended up coming a month later but i know a lot of people who bought tickets to the BDO just because they were coming... I doubt this 2006 BDO rumour is true but i hope that it is...

Otherwise, i'll most likely look forward to seeing Tool in Australia sometime later in 2006, several months after the album has been released.

Fuck, they better not play at the BDO...

APC didnt play at the BDO for two reasons:
1. the other bands playing were lame and they didnt like them.
2. because they had enough fans in aus and nz to justify playing lots of shows in both countries.

if apc had enough status to go without the BDO, then theres no fuckign way tool will play at the BDO. tools shows are just awesome, they wouldnt limit to a festival as lame and shit as the BDO.

tool have played festivals.. and the bands that have headlined BDO have not been small. i don't think c4 knows shit. they get most of the info from toolband and tdn.
in saying that, BDO would suck, teeny boppers, daytime, only one performance. ruins the idea of following them around.

wasn't it because the BDO organisers wouldn't give them a nighttime slot? either that or it was the fact that they wouldn't be headlining the festival.

i really don't pay attention about who's playing BDO until it's actually up on the site.

falls is better anyway.
