This may not be a new idea, but...

Similarities

Pushit -

"You're pushing, and shoving, and scrambling, to keep my feet flat on the ground"

Lateralus -

"With my feet upon the ground..."

Coincidence? Maybe from Pushit onwards he was re-stabilising... had to break away to start over again with Lateralus... when his feet are planted on cleaner ground...

Yea maybe, it just stuck in my mind.

And it's "Mention something, mention anything..." in Disposition.

It's just that when I'm writing on something ideas tend to stick in my head, and continue from older work. Maybe he's different. Ah well.

How the fuck did you notice that. but in Radioheads dollars and cents he says "Be constructive, prove yourself" and prove yourself is a song from pablo honey.

I really dont think there is any other connection between the songs except for the same theme.

You could also say Aenima is similar with
"the ground is breaking down right under me..."

dude, that's flood. yes, the recurring water theme can result in the occasinoal recurring lyric. i doubt it's any deeper than that.
