The New Tool album news and the problem with continuity

So, how the hell Danny Carey has long hair in those photos in Adam's blog? In the July newsletter he has short hair. Give me a reasonable explanation or I'll start freaking out.

I'm absolute, you can tell by the longer hairs on the back of his neck and the way his hair is pulled back.

My guess is LeChuck and everyone who's read this thread are going to disappear for a few hours. We may notice our watch jump a few seconds if we're looking at it when the transistion occurs. Somewhere in some Kelogg's installation they'll "repair" our memory of Dannys short hair. There's nothing to freak out about, just relax and it will fix itself.

Anyone who's ever had long hair, which I had for ten years, could tell that it is indeed in a pony tail. A pretty sloppy one at that. Really LeChuck, it's not that hard, did you see any hair on Danny's forehead in the third set of pictures? Unless he has hair like George Castanza, it's got to be pulled back. From what I've seen Tool is still recording, or just very recently finished, and we will get the info that we want soon. Then it's all downhill from there. Once the information starts coming, it's going to flood over all of us and this pergatory that we are in now will be forgotten. That's we I think at least.

I bet we will get the info in the August newsletter. August 2006 newsletter to be specific.

I bet this newsletter that should come out in the next week will say that the recording is nearing completion or is already done. They may say they have 15 tracks recorded and will choose which ones to put on the album and to expect the album by the end of the year.


I'm gonna be shocked if we get any more info than that. No tracklists, names, track times, etc.

This newsletter will probably just prove everything we already have been guessing (it's not really hard to know that they are probably nearing the end of recording and they will record 15 songs or so).
