There is no slated release for the new album from now until September 20th, so we may as well accept the fact that we probably won't see it until october or november.

Well, was the Slipknot DVD revealed that early? I heard it was kept very secret, until it's release. TOOL could be doing the same thing.

Serious, are you talking like two weeks before and then just putting it out there on the shelves.

Err, I guess.

i honestly think thats what they will do. tool have never struck me as being the all about advertising their new product type of band. word will get around and most of the fans will know about it before or shortly after the dvd comes out.

would the record company let them do that, im not sure they have that sort of control over the release, except when its ready?

there was quite a bit of advertisement for lateralus (specifically on mtv)

you probably won't see it until next year. why some of you want to get your hopes up without any info is so bizzare. it's as if you want to cause yourself dissapointment.

Very true. All this hype is making us anticipate this whole thing too much. Maybe we should stop posting on the new album rumor thing until we have some official info from toolband. None of this I have a friend who knows this guy garbage. This seriously is ruining it.

But these idiots will probably keep making stuff up just because they have nothing better to do.

Oh shit, THIS JUST IN. Apparently JESUS is going to be on the new album. I heard this from God, so it's pretty legit.

The album will never be released. It's Tool's farewell "fuck you".
