I heard Fripp was going to be on the new album. Don't know for certain though. I guess this information was posted in his Diary, but it only shows the last week.

I'm not saying he is going to be, just sharing what I heard.

i thought this was a possibility as well, after looking at Adam's MySpace page (http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendID=20913840&Mytoken=20050802003858)

there's a picture on there of the band chilling with "Mr. Fripp" so... who knows?

I also have been wondering if King Buzzo from the Melvins will collaborate in some way... seeing as Blair mentioned him in a recent post on Toolband, suggesting he may have been at the barbeques at recording sessions or something like that... not out of the question since they've worked together in the past, such as on the Melvins album Hostile Ambient Takeover...

It's funny cause, I actually posted serious information, while others continue to make shit up.

Well, what can you do? People who make shit up obviously have a mental problem.

That doesn't mean he is going to be on the album.

About the whole Buzzo thing... I thought I'd mention that he was in the studio for the recording of Lateralus as well, although he did not guest on the album... to quote the April 2001 newsletter...

On another occasion, during some down time, I walked into the lounge area to find Adam, Buzz (King Buzzo) and few friends watching a video of a Mexican Charreada (rodeo). In this violent spectacle (set to mariachi-style music for the purpose of the video), macho types who probably swallowed one to many mescal worms were attempting to ride wild bulls.

So the mentioning of his name in the 2005 news could be the same idea.
